AUDIO TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

If you are prompted to save the file when you click on an audio link you may not have Real Audio or Windows Media player installed.  These are free downloads so just click on the button and download the latest version.

	Windows Media Player will play Windows Media, MP3s and many other formats.

Why do I need Anti-virus software?

Viruses are proliferated mainly through email attachments.  If you do not have anti-virus software it could infect your computer and then be spread to others through your email or via a network.  The best way to be protected by these viruses is to follow these simple precautions.

Why do I need a firewall?

With the expansion of the broadband internet connection such as cable, DSL and satellite there has become more of a need for computer users to have firewall protection. What a firewall does is prevents unauthorized access from the internet into your computer and to the internet by a rogue computer application within your computer. What is Spyware?
Also called adware, spyware is any software that covertly gathers user information through the user's Internet connection without his or her knowledge, usually for advertising purposes. Spyware applications are typically bundled as a hidden component of freeware or shareware programs that can be downloaded from the Internet.
